She hides behind a veil of lies,
They mask her tears and hide her troubles,
Her lips sewn together by fear,
She daren't speak out, not on her life,
Even when drowning in despair,
Even when burning under the pressure,
She wont dare call out for help,
Too scared to reveal her weakness,
Too troubled not to weave her lies,
Maybe she will slip out a hint,
A glimpse of what she really feels,
Although I doubt that.

Because that's the other side of me,
The side I'm too ashamed to let anyone see.
