Stardust

The Sky she watches, the Stars they see,
Taking pleasure in seeing you, lighting you up,
When you passed on, they looked.
They cannot see you lie underground, they wonder,
When you returned to them, for we are made of stardust,
They sighed mixed feelings, and the Moon,
oh the Moon, she went into hiding that night,
she mourned you, you became one more light in the Sky,
despite you being there, the extra light you bring,
You leave me cold.
